Blending the web’s best drumming content

Studying an instrument is always a work in progress, and these days the sheer amount of content that is available online can be overwhelming.

Many people simply don’t have time to work through that content in order to find the things they’re interested in, or could be missing out 😲 on new things by always going back to the same places for their drumming fix.

My aims are to:

  1. Do the hard work for you, bringing together the content that will excite and enthuse you, and delivering it directly to your inbox via a free weekly newsletter.

  2. Write original, insightful articles that can accelerate your learning.

Built by a drummer, for drummers

As an enthusiast, I understand how exciting it is to find cool new material to work on, discover new ways of approaching the instrument or just to find that magical thing that inspires you to get out of a rut (it happens).

I’m always looking for new content, events, drumming news, reviews etc.

Alongside that, I distil my own knowledge and experience into original, insightful articles with practical advice that you can immediately apply to your studies.

I’d like to pass my research over to you.

So…Who Are You??!?!?

My name is Iain, and I’m a drummer living in the North East of England with my wife, Kelly, and my dog, Ted.

Me, Ted, Kelly (Kelly behind camera)

I’ve been playing drums since 1993, when I was aged 16. A friend was playing guitar at school - a drum kit was nearby, so I jumped on it and have been hooked ever since!

Me, aged around 16-ish. I really don’t remember when this was!

I’ve been in numerous bands over the years, but I know enough to know that I know nothing! I’m still curious, still do lessons with a great teacher and am also still learning from the wonderful people out there on the web.

Having fun!

I’d love for you to subscribe (it’s free!) and let me share what I learn with you.

Or as someone famous once said - “if you like this, subscribe, if you don’t like it, send it to an enemy” 🙂

Cheers, and happy drumming,

Iain
